This update introduces new input parameters and significant functional additions to the ASCTrend alert indicator. These functions are integrated into the oncalculate() block to generate buy and sell signals. Calls to buysignal() and sellsignal() are placed after the indicator calculation cycles, utilizing specified indicator buffers (buybuffer and sellbuffer) for storing these signals. Zeroes or empty_value should be used as empty values within these indicator buffers.
It is expected that each of the buysignal() and sellsignal() functions will be called only once within the oncalculate() block of the indicator code.
