A signal is generated upon the closing of a bar if two conditions are met:
- Signals from the fast and slow trends are aligned.
- The direction of the fast trend has reversed.
Input parameters for the Expert Advisor include string variables for enhanced visual display in the EA inputs window. The CGoscillator_HTF indicators within the EA are solely for convenient trend visualization in the Strategy Tester; they are inactive in other operating modes.
For the Expert Advisor to function correctly, ensure that the compiled CGoscillator.ex5 and CGoscillator_HTF.ex5 indicator files are placed in the <terminal_data_folder>\mql5\indicators directory.
The TradeAlgorithms.mqh library file facilitates the use of Expert Advisors with brokers offering non-zero spreads and the ability to set Stop Loss and Take Profit concurrently with position opening.
Default Expert Advisor input parameters were employed during the testing period. Stop Loss and Take Profit were not utilized in these tests.
