A wave crossing the zero line suggests the beginning of a longer-term trend.

In points 1 (negative) to 2 (near zero) - this shows the start of a prolonged rise.

3 (crossing zero) - after a period of consolidation, a sharp rise occurs.

4, 5, 6 - trend changes.

External Variables:

period_channel = 70
- period for the high-low channel.

period_input = 48
- period for the inner channel line.

Explanation:

The upper part of the illustration shows three Moving Averages (MA).

Green - LWMA MA based on high prices.

Red - LWMA MA based on low prices.

Blue - the inner channel line (SMA MA based on closing prices).

It can be observed that during consolidation, the inner channel line approaches the outer channel lines, meaning the distance between them becomes minimal, which is what the indicator shows.

begin_trend_v02 is a normalized version of the indicator, which may be of more interest.

The indicator is designed for use in 2026.
