The MQ L5 Wizard allows users to create Expert Advisor code automatically. This strategy is based on the crossover of two exponentially smoothed Moving Averages, also known as the fast EMA and slow EMA. The strategy is implemented in the CSignalCrossEMA class. The trading strategy has protected methods to simplify access to indicator values, including opening and closing long and short positions. The conditions for these positions are as follows: Open long position when the Fast EMA has crossed upward over the slow EMA on the last completed bar, and Close long position when the Fast EMA has crossed downward over the slow EMA on the last completed bar. The conditions for opening and closing short positions are the same as those for closing and opening long positions, respectively.
To create an Expert Advisor using the MQL5 Wizard, choose the signal properties as Signals based on crossover of two EMA in the Creating Ready-Made Expert Advisors option.
