The indicator automatically detects the presence of a custom chart upon attachment to a chart window. If a custom chart is available, the library functions utilize its data; otherwise, it defaults to standard chart data. This design ensures compatibility with both custom and standard charts without requiring modifications.
Instructions:
- Download the library file and place it in the terminal_data_folder\mql5\libraries directory.
- Download the library description file libcustomchart.mqh and place it in terminal_data_folder\mql5\include.
- Obtain Nikolay Kositsin's smoothalgorithms.mqh file and place it in terminal_data_folder\mql5\include.
- Download the ismoothlines.mq5 file and place it in terminal_data_folder\mql5\indicators.
- Open ismoothlines.mq5 in MetaEditor and compile (F7).
The compiled ismoothlines.ex5 indicator can be executed on either standard or custom charts.
