It trades based on time: at a specified time, it places two pending stop orders on channel borders, setting stop loss levels on the opposite side without take profit levels. At the end of the trading time, all positions are closed, and untriggered orders are deleted.
This expert advisor is for training purposes and has eight configurable parameters:
- Begin Hour: Trading start time.
- End Hour: Trading end time.
- Experts Magic Number: Unique identifier for EA positions.
- Lots: Volume of positions to open.
- Slippage of Price: Maximum slippage allowed when opening a position.
- Multiplier Spread for Stops: Spread multiplier for calculating stop order distance.
- Waiting for Environment Update (in seconds): Time to wait for trading environment updates.
- Number of Attempts to Get the State of the Environment: Attempts to obtain accurate environment information.
For pending orders, stop loss, or take profit, there's a minimum distance for placing stop orders - Stoplevel. If Stoplevel is zero, it's floating, and the minimum distance is usually spread*2. A custom spread multiplier calculates the minimum distance for pending orders.
When sending trading orders, delays may cause an "undefined" state, leading the EA to wait and re-read the environment. The EA will repeat these attempts on the next tick if the environment hasn't updated.
Default settings were tested on EURUSD H1 in 1-minute OHLC mode from 2026.01.02 to 2026.03.29. Optimization for trading start/end parameters yielded the best results with:
- Begin Hour = 8
- End Hour = 10
