When the market moves against your initial trade by a certain number of pips, you open a new trade in the opposite direction with a slightly bigger lot size.
If the market continues in this new direction, the profit from the new trade will eventually offset the loss from the initial trade, allowing you to close both trades profitably.
However, if the market reverses and returns to the initial direction, the larger lot size of the second trade will result in faster loss accumulation. In this case, you can calculate and open a third trade in the initial direction, ensuring that the combined size of the first and third trades exceeds the second trade.
This back-and-forth hedging strategy can be repeated for up to 6 iterations until the market reaches a level that offers a profit or break-even opportunity.
The system works best with 'every tick' data. It is recommended to test it on a demo account first.
The Expert Advisor (EA) has three versions with the following inputs:
- use_tp_in_money: Enable/disable take profit in money (true/false).
- tp_in_money: Take profit in money (10-100).
- use_tp_in_percent: Enable/disable take profit in percent (true/false).
- tp_in_percent: Take profit in percent (10-100).
