This template offers a structured approach to setting take profit and stop loss levels, entering and exiting positions, and managing potential terminal issues like crashes or disconnects.
To utilize this template, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the "Long and Short Entry Conditions" section at the bottom of the EA.
- Implement your entry conditions for long and short trades.
- For long trades, set the conditions in the "longSignal()" function to return "1" when a long signal is generated.
- For short trades, configure the "shortSignal()" function to return "-1" upon detecting a short signal.
The EA will place a single buy or sell order when your specified conditions are met. If both long and short conditions are satisfied simultaneously, no order will be executed. It will exit trades when take profit or stop loss levels are reached or when a signal in the opposite direction is triggered, subsequently opening a new trade in the appropriate direction.
