This strategy's main parameters include:
- Currency pairs: EUR/GBP and EUR/USD (other pairs can be used, but these were tested).
- Time interval: Н1 or M30 (M30 may produce more false signals).
- Moving averages: 18 ЕМА, 28 ЕМА, 5 WMA, and 8 WMA.
The 18 ЕМА and 28 ЕМА moving averages form a tunnel, helping identify long-term trend beginnings and endings. The 5 WMA and 8 WMA indicate market entry points and assess short-term trend strength.
Market entry signals:
- Buy position: Open when the tunnel is narrow or intertwined, and 5 WMA and 8 WMA cross the tunnel upwards. If 5 WMA also crosses 8 WMA upwards, it's a strong signal.
- Sell position: Open when the tunnel is narrow or intertwined, and 5 WMA and 8 WMA cross the tunnel downwards. If 5 WMA crosses 8 WMA downwards, it's a good entry signal.
Market exit signals indicating trend end:
