A trade signal is generated when a bar is closing and one of the following conditions is met:
- The MACD histogram breaks through the zero level.
- The direction of the histogram or signal line has changed.
- The histogram breaks through the signal line.
The following input parameter is used for selecting an entry algorithm option.
The Expert Advisor requires the compiled indicator file 'digital_macd.ex5'. Place this file in the 'terminal_data_folder\mql5\indicators' directory.
The 'tradealgorithms.mqh' library file enables the use of Expert Advisors with brokers that offer non-zero spreads and allow setting Stop Loss and Take Profit simultaneously with position opening.
Default Expert Advisor input parameters were used during the tests. Stop Loss and Take Profit were not utilized during the tests.
