I recently discovered the Center of Gravity indicator, and I'm attempting to integrate it into an EA. However, the EA is not initiating trades, neither in demo mode nor during testing.
The concept involves generating five parallel lines along the trend, with trade signals triggered by intersections of the extreme lines. My specific idea is to use a Simple Moving Average (SMA) with a period of 1, based on low prices, crossing the lower indicator line from below as a buy signal. Conversely, for a sell signal, the SMA 1, based on high prices, would cross the upper line from above.
This strategy can be further refined, but the immediate goal is to resolve the issue of the EA not opening trades.
