Installation: Place the file willamblau.mqh in the following directory: terminal_data_folder\mql5\include\ Place the file blau_ts_stochastic.mq5 in the following directory: terminal_data_folder\mql5\indicators\ Stochastic Oscillator Blau TS Calculation: The Stochastic Oscillator is defined as follows: The signal line is calculated using exponential moving average (EMA) smoothing: Where: ts_stochastic() - represents the fast stochastic, %K calculation using parameters tstochi(price, q, r, s, u). signalline() - represents the slow stochastic (signal line), %D, calculated with period ul, applied to the fast stochastic (%K). ul - is the EMA smoothing period for the signal line.Also recommended: stochastic multi-timeframe indicator - similar indicator with strong performance on MetaTrader 5.
Input Parameters:
Graphic Plot #0 - Fast Stochastic (%K):
q - Period for the stochastic calculation (default: 5).
r - Period for the first EMA smoothing applied to the stochastic (default: 20).
s - Period for the second EMA smoothing applied to the result of the first smoothing (default: 5).
u - Period for the third EMA smoothing applied to the result of the second smoothing (default: 3).
Graphic Plot #1 - Slow Stochastic (Signal Line %D):
ul - Period for the EMA smoothing of the signal line, applied to the fast stochastic (default: 3).
appliedprice - The price type to use for calculations (default: Close Price).
Notes:
q must be greater than 0.
r, s, and u must be greater than 0. If r, s, or u is set to 1, the corresponding smoothing will not be applied.
ul must be greater than 0. If ul is set to 1, the oscillator and signal lines will be identical.
The minimum number of bars required for calculation is (q - 1 + r + s + u - 3 + 1).
