TardioBot V1.05, named after a defiant historical figure, Giuseppe Tardio, is an Expert Advisor designed for MetaTrader 5 that employs a triangular arbitrage strategy. This EA identifies and capitalizes on price discrepancies among three currency pairs to facilitate profitable trading. It continuously monitors bid and ask prices, computes arbitrage ratios, and executes simultaneous trades when opportunities surpass predetermined thresholds, while also considering spreads and commissions.
The functionality of TardioBot includes support for six predefined arbitrage trios, such as EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and EUR/GBP. It dynamically updates price data with precision tailored to each symbol, validates lot sizes across all symbols in the trio, and accounts for individual commissions and spread costs. Additionally, the EA is programmed to close stale trades after a user-defined period, log arbitrage opportunities and trade details to a file, and implement safety checks for equity, margin, and extreme ratios.
