- Open the H1 chart.
- Attach the 'period_converter.mq4' script from the "Scripts" folder in the "Navigator" window to the chart.
- In the "General" tab, enable the "Allow DLL Imports" flag and disable the "Confirm DLL Function Calls" parameter.
- Navigate to the "Inputs" tab of the script and set the "ExtPeriodMultiplier" variable to 3 to achieve the H1*3 = H3 period.
- Click OK.
- Open the H3 chart in offline mode via "File - Open Offline". The H3 chart will update every 2 seconds (default) when the H1 chart is open and the 'period_converter.mq4' script is attached.
