i aim to rehabilitate the good old ma.
yes, it's true that ma lags, and you won't catch the top of a trend with it.
yes, it generates many false signals.
however, by utilizing the advantages of money management, you can easily turn ma into a profitable trading tool.
additionally, you can use my living now indicator for filtering (you can figure out how).
now, let's talk about the indicator itself...
indicator description:
this indicator does not repaint.
it works on the 0-bar.
the indicator period is set to 24 (for the hourly chart).
it is specifically designed for the usdjpy pair.
all readings are reset during the weekend (from 8:00 pm friday to 1:00 am monday). the filled bars are red in the image.
like my previous works, this is not the holy grail... but you can and should make profits with it.
attention! there's a bug. when switching between accounts, you need to refresh the indicator as it duplicates.
unfortunately, i haven't found a solution for this 0-bar calculation issue yet. i will update the indicator once i resolve this problem.
