The functions buysignal() and sellsignal() are called after the indicator calculation cycles in the oncalculate() block. These functions are used to store buy and sell signals in the indicator buffers, buybuffer and sellbuffer, respectively. It is important to set empty values in the indicator buffers as either zeros or empty_value.
The indicator code assumes that only one call to the buysignal() and sellsignal() functions will be made in the oncalculate() block.
