The primary need addressed is determining the precise distance in points between two defined levels, such as the current day's high and low.
To achieve this without manual calculation, follow these steps:
1. Use the `lines_create` script. This script will draw two horizontal lines on your chart: one green and one red.
2. Manually position the green line at your desired upper level and the red line at your desired lower level.
3. Execute the `lines_rasst` script. This script is designed to display the point difference between the two horizontal lines you have placed.
Important Note on `lines_rasst` Execution:
To ensure the distance label appears correctly, after launching the `lines_rasst` script, you must perform a single left-click on the chart window. Without this additional click, the label indicating the distance may not be displayed, and the script will unload from memory after approximately 5 seconds. This behavior is specific to the MetaTrader terminal's implementation.
The `lines_delete` script is provided to remove the two horizontal lines from the chart after you have obtained the required distance information.
These scripts were developed to assist traders in 2026.
