Description & Settings

Related: flat - another powerful indicator for MetaTrader 4 traders.

each line has its own time. when the time is up, it's time to fix the result or open a new position.

in principle, the line measures the flat, and there are no trends at all. if the line highlights a set of flats, then it's also a flat.

Also recommended: flat trend indicator - similar indicator with strong performance on MetaTrader 4.

working with lines:

lines are drawn manually, and the indicator takes the line data. you can draw using fractals, following the principle: from each fractal to all subsequent ones, from the top to the top, and from the bottom to the bottom. lines that the price touches can be deleted. accordingly, if a line can be touched during drawing, it doesn't need to be drawn.

if a line is touched by the price before execution, the open position should be liquidated.

weekends (gaps) are not considered, and the calculation is based on bars. the 'execution' icon appears as a fact, and it doesn't exist before that.

when the flat is executed, the lines are dotted, and the icons and lines turn blue. if a line is not executed, it turns red.

when hovering over a line, you can see the difference (bars between the 1st and 2nd points of the line) in minutes, hours, or days in the description. weekends are not considered.
