For every candlestick on any timeframe, there is a corresponding number of ticks that formed it. On Forex charts, this is displayed as volume, though it does not directly correlate with actual trading volumes. However, tick volume data can be used similarly to real volume data.
Information about ticks preceding the indicator's attachment is sourced from a special tick file, generated by . Alternatively, a pre-made tick file can be obtained from . If historical data rendering is not needed, indicator values will appear in real-time, assuming new ticks are arriving.

About the Clusterbox_Histogramm Indicator

Unlike indicators that display the tick count per cluster within a single candlestick, the Clusterbox_Histogramm indicator calculates the tick count for a cluster that encompasses multiple candlesticks. This means a specified range of candlesticks is treated as a single candlestick divided into clusters. The tick count within each cluster is then calculated.

The blue and light blue lines on the chart represent the total tick count per cluster. The exact value is displayed to the right of the rectangle bounding the data collection interval. The colors of these lines are determined by the tick count and the values set in the "min. volumes and colors" parameters.

Red and green lines indicate the tick count for price declines and advances, respectively. These are configured in the "delta of volumes" parameters block.

The data collection interval is adjusted by moving and/or dragging the rectangle.
